It’s been a while since my last true newsletter and honestly… I’ve really missed this space!
The past few years have been such a fun, expansive chapter behind the scenes — finding new ways to support you and growing different parts of what I do, from Vegas Dog Moms to the Pet Pros.
After my work was misunderstood and I was mistaken for a pug breeder. That shift helped create clarity in what I do — but after sitting with it, I realized something even more important…
No matter how things evolve, my foundation — will always be being “the pug mom” 🐶
So I’ve made the intentional decision to return to those roots, while still holding onto my social name.
4And with that… here’s what’s been going on lately at Mindful Dog Mom 🐾
Our current house guest weighs in at 25 lbs of love — and he truly lives up to his name! Teddy Bear is 7-year-old owner surrender who came into rescue after a prolonged eye issue. Thanks to the amazing teams at VEG Henderson and Boca Park, his eye has since been repaired, and he’s now on the road to recovery! Right now, he is settled into foster life and learning what it feels like to just be safe again. He’s sweet, gentle, has this calm presence plus he’s not doing it alone — our Darla Pugstable has taken it upon herself to show him how to navigate life like a true pirate! Watching her help him build his confidence and learn his new normal has been one of those unexpectedly heart-melting parts of fostering! He is now up for adoption as he’s fully healed

If you’ve already been booking with me this year, you may have noticed the switch in action — but I wanted to officially introduce it here as part of bringing this newsletter back! 💚

Now that you’re all caught up… stay tuned as there’s a lot more unfolding under our revised ‘The Pug Mom’ umbrella ✨ Mindful Dog Mom’s concierge service (our version of a Rover-style booking experience) is still in the works. We’ve had a few hiccups over the last six months on the backend, but we’re actively working through it, and I can’t wait to bring it to life for you soon.
