Uniting pet owners and professionals to make pet lives better

I’ve been caring for pets since I was just 16 years old through family, friends & clients. I started as a grooming salon/retail manager then became a veterinary receptionist before transitioning to a professional pet sitter.

In 2018, I retired from Pet Sitting. Now, I’m on a mission to make pet lives better!

I fell in love with the holistic lifestyle because of how we, THRIVE ON REAL FOOD. When I gave up ‘junk food’ and starting eating non-gmo & organic foods - my body rewarded me with energy I never had. So I thought - how can I do this for my pugs? What can I do to make their lives better? I stumbled on Pet Nutrition Blogger Rodney Habib and later transitioned them to a Raw Food diet and realized it’s what mother nature intended. From there my passion for pet care education grew and here I am today - helping educate others.

I’ve been a workaholic, creative leader and entrepreneur my entire life. After networking with colleagues, I knew I wanted to help pet professionals achieve their goals and make a difference in the world. This is why I discourage residents & professionals from participating in the Rover.com & Wag.com software. Not only does this company not care about your pets but they only care about your wallet. I myself, understand everyone has to “pay the bills” but there is a difference between a hobbyist and a professional. This is where the idea for Pets of Las Vegas & Pawesome Professionals came to life. I wanted to create a pet community in the Las Vegas Valley that would unite pet owners and professionals to make pet lives better. With my exclusive mobile app, this also brings the convenience of technology as seen by Rover & Yelp to YOU, without having to do as much research. All in one page on the internet - Las Vegas has access to real stories by real pets.

When I’m not sitting in front of my computer or behind my camera, my free time is spent going on adventures at Disneyland, playing film critic at the movies or sitting at home with the pugs reading a book or watching classic tv shows such as Gilmore Girls and Friends. FUN FACT: I live a double life! By day I care for Vegas pets and at night, I rock out with musicians by working behind-the-scenes in the entertainment industry.

Lily

The pug who saved my life Both of childhood dogs passed away within 3 months of each other in early 2013 due to unexpected medical illnesses. I was depressed and really needed to fill my heart with the love of a new best friend. I was invited to apply as a Foster for the Southern Nevada Pug Rescue, which 3 months later I got the call asking if I could Foster an adult black pug. I walked into the vet clinic to pick her up and there she was, just with her smile alone I knew she was my soulmate and best friend for life ❤️

Luna

My mother and her friend found a fawn pug roaming the streets and not only did she have no collar on but she looked deathly ill. After a trip to the vet to confirm she had a microchip but no owner was registered plus a week of full meals to fatten her up, we knew she found us for a reason. Luna instantly became the yang to Lily's ying and we became a family of 3. My 'ol lady' as I love to call her, now lives for food, naps & snuggles. She loves to wake me up in the mornings by playing the drums on my face☺

Dixon

At the time he walked into my life I was a regular volunteer for the Southern Nevada Pug Rescue. I received an email that a Puggle desperately needed a new home. His family had loved him since the day he was born but they could no longer afford to pay for his medical expenses as he was suffering from untreatable allergies. Thanks to the help of SNPR and my veterinarian Dr. Blakesley at Southern Hills - Dixon has been with us since 2015 hotspot free! He's a true 'Mama's Boy' and he has fun doing a stance for food 🐶

Winston & Zelda

My older sister Cassandra is a Professional Dressage Rider & Groomer who travels often for work. During her adventures, I get to become the "Corgi Mom" to my fun niece & nephew duo. Zelda is a total diva just like my Lily, she lives for food like Luna and Dixon has taught her his food stance or she’ll do tricks for treats! Winston is an old man with degenerative myelopathy but his illness doesn't stop him from living his life to it's fullest. They also are the real reason why I have a soft spot for corgis 🐾
